good morning! my day and weekend is off to a great start! had an apple, pb2, and a big glass of water for breakfast, then headed to the gym. did the ab machine, arm weights, and then the ab machine again.
then hit the treadmill. did .25 miles walking to warm up, then ran a mile in 9.30. that could be my fastest mile. i started at 6 mph and ended at 7.2! i remember when there was a time that running at 4 mph was fast and i never thought i’d get to even 5 mph :) then i walked .25 to cool down. then i attempted the stair machine. put in 12 minutes, lasted all of 3 and a half minutes. my legs were feeling wobbly and my tummy was not feeling so great.
i’m back home and feel fine….actually i feel great! forgive me, tumblrs, for i have sinned. it’s been TWENTY days since my last workout!!! i thought getting back into it would be tougher than it was, but i actually LOVED today’s workout and got back into the groove of things quite nicely :) the rest of the day will be spent eating healthy foods and doing weekend stuff….cleaning, laundry, etc….

Hurrah for you! I just got into working out this week after a long break too. I’m so glad you enjoyed it cause I hated it but today’s meant to be my day of rest and all I can think about is ‘what exercise am I doing today?’.
