I lost a bunch of weight, but gained most of it back. i'm ready to forgive myself for gaining it back and ready to restart a new weight-loss journey and find myself again.
This is the account of my journey to a healthier, happier, longer life.
I know it's not always going to be easy. I know there will be ups and downs. I know there will be smiles and tears. I know there might be times I want to give up and quit.
I know that I'm worth it. I know that I'm ready for this. I know that I can do this. I know that I will do this. Just watch me.

I am a: catholic, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, friend, first grade teacher.
3 Goals by the time I'm 33 (Feb, 2015):
1. Lose 100 pounds.
2. Pay off credit cards
3. Do something to celebrate losing weight & for 33rd birthday.
Short term weight-loss goal: lose 10 pounds a month.
Starting Weight: 260 (Dec. 30, 2013)
Short-Term Goal Weight: 199 pounds
Ultimate Goal Weight: 155 pounds
Short-Term Fitness Goal: Complete c25k (starting Dec. 30, 2013)
Mid-Term Fitness Goal: Bolder Boulder 10K (Memorial Day, 2014)
Long-Term Fitness Goal: Omaha Half-Marathon (September, 2014), Trek Up The Tower (Feb, 2015), and Lincoln Half-Marathon (May, 2015).
2014 Travel Plans:
Mid-May: St. Louis
Memorial Day Weekend: Boulder, CO
Summer: NYC and possibly Mexico???

I've completed a MARATHON (chicago oct. 2012), 5Ks, 10Ks, a 15K, some half marathons, a Warrior Dash, and a vertical/stair race.
