warrior dash

i’m doing the warrior dash on saturday.

i’m not scared of it, i just really don’t want to do it.

insecure girl who’s gained some weight coming out:  i am dreading having my tshirt cling to my body (when it’s wet and/or muddy) - showing off my puffy tummy.

makes me sad.

  2. aniesadventures said: You will be fine, and look lovely all splattered with mud! Get it!
  3. hellofar said: Don’t even think about that. You are doing something amazing that even people who are “skinny” don’t have the guts to do. Good luck!!
  4. blissmanifesto said: Oy, sweetie!! Just try to have some fun getting muddy and exhausted. LOL it will be great.
  5. lostweightgainedlove said: You look amazing and will do amazing.
  6. laughdreamdo said: If I can do it, you can do it. Seriously, it was one of the most fun races I have done and one of the things I am most glad I did…and I was freaking out before hand.
  7. regainingmymoxy said: I know this. Maybe wear a thicker shirt. They always make me feel safer.
  8. runningbysheds said: All things are possible! You said so yourself!!
  9. jenlovinglife said: The mud is so super thick that you won’t be able to tell. BELIEVE ME. I did it like 20 pounds ago. =)
  10. gettingfitbythirty said: I did it last year, and I had the same worries you did. I wore a black shirt (obvious choice) and I really did have such a good time that I wasn’t worried about that anymore! Have so much fun!
  11. despetitesvictoires said: Please do it anyways! You only regrets the chances you don’t take.
  12. missmarisol said: You are going to have a great time. Who cares if it clings to you? You are brave & strong.
  13. marathonmelissa said: We are going to have a great time! And be so covered in mud that it won’t matter at all. I’m kinda worried about getting hurt….and the fact that I have no upper body strength! but we will rock it! I promise!
  14. activeinpink said: looking back on my pics from last year, yeah my shirt and shorts clung, but you know what, I don’t even care about the chub they showed off. i had the time of my life and that’s what should matter!
  15. becky-balances said: a) compression top? b) try not to worry about it, just have fun!! :)
  16. cupcakeconditioning said: It’ll be so much fun, though! I did it a few weeks ago and had a blast :)
  17. keepgoinggreen said: think of all of the girls out there who wont even consider doing this sort of event because they will get a little dirty, or can’t run, or dont believe in their phsyical ability - and do it for them to show them that anything is possible. Its your positive attitude and…
  18. snapthistiger said: you’ll do great !! i’m sure of that. just run fast and get dirty and post pics for us to see. and i’m jealous, ‘cause i want to do one of those…. :-)
  19. reinventingaimee said: I’m doing it in a week. We can rock it. Don’t be sad!
  20. runningfortheriesling said: I’m doing a mud run this summer with my coworkers and have this exact fear. I SO get it.
